[SOLVED] time acceleration

Hi,
is there any way to disable the penalty for using time acceleration.
holding it at x1 rate on a long or even medium houl can make a VERY boring crz stage.

I once flew a 17 hour flight from Detroit to Osaka Japan without Time Acceleration. Since I did it in real life I did it in the game.

More to the point WHY?
I love my sim to bits and would gladly marry it, but to stare at a screen for 17 hours with very little happening for the 15 hour cruise is
taking it a bit far. :-)

In the years I have had a flight sim, I have yet to use time acceleration. Although right now the biggest plane in my fleet is a 737-800, I
have done a 5.5 hour trip. Eventually when I get a long distance plane, I still wont use time acceleration no matter how boring it is. I do
however sometimes if its a trans atlantic or pacific trip, when not using FSP, I will take off, reach cruising altitude and will do this late at
night before going to bed, then wake up, drink my coffee and take over from the autopilot

What about ATC calls? IFR Flight plans tend to get cancelled if you don't react.

I can't say I've ever tried a transoceanic flight so I don't know how often this might happend, though...
