[SOLVED] time acceleration - ha5mvo - 11-07-2005 Hi, is there any way to disable the penalty for using time acceleration. holding it at x1 rate on a long or even medium houl can make a VERY boring crz stage. Thanx Michael Re: time acceleration - ha5mvo - 11-07-2005 Ah, found it! the answer is in the "tips and tricks" Re: time acceleration - pagir - 11-07-2005 ...and you can find those "tips and tricks" here: http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=314 Re: [SOLVED] time acceleration - SWAFO - 11-07-2005 Turn off time acceleration? C'mon! Didn't you purchase FSP for the realism factor? Just giving you a hard time :-) Re: [SOLVED] time acceleration - Clownloachlover - 16-07-2005 Quote:SWAFO wrote: I once flew a 17 hour flight from Detroit to Osaka Japan without Time Acceleration. Since I did it in real life I did it in the game. I love my sim to bits and would gladly marry it, but to stare at a screen for 17 hours with very little happening for the 15 hour cruise is taking it a bit far. :-) Re: [SOLVED] time acceleration - SaVas - 16-07-2005 In the years I have had a flight sim, I have yet to use time acceleration. Although right now the biggest plane in my fleet is a 737-800, I have done a 5.5 hour trip. Eventually when I get a long distance plane, I still wont use time acceleration no matter how boring it is. I do however sometimes if its a trans atlantic or pacific trip, when not using FSP, I will take off, reach cruising altitude and will do this late at night before going to bed, then wake up, drink my coffee and take over from the autopilot Re: [SOLVED] time acceleration - SpectroPro - 16-07-2005 Quote:walterp wrote: Welcome to being a PILOT! I can't say I've ever tried a transoceanic flight so I don't know how often this might happend, though... Re: [SOLVED] time acceleration - walterp - 17-07-2005 It is simple. When you get handed off respond but do not contact the next controller. |
