So, after carefull and interested reading, I decided to have a go and see for my self.

Then, I just subscribed to VATSIM. They look indeed terribly fussy about all and everything and it is not that easy to understand the
mumbo jumbo in their rules.

In another hand, their forum show something more human. Just use the "search" for FsPassengers in their forum and see that numbers
of them fly within FsPassengers session.

As far as I could read the only restriction about emmergency is to disconnect if the controller feels overloaded. which seems logic.

For now I am trying to understand all their technical stuff, I will tet you know how it goes.

Well, folks I think what happened at VATSIM must have been because of someone who takes things real seriously. Or maybe he/she
was an inexperienced ATC so didn't want any trouble at KSFO.
Anyway, it wasn't a mature approach to things.

Nem: you can still have an opinion based on an assumption even if you were not present at the time.

See it like this: if that really is the way things happened, then I would have this opinion (which, of course, doesn't rule out having another
opinion if this wasn't the case).

What really pisses me off are people who make decisions based on assumptions and heresay; but that's another story.

I haven';t had any bad expierences with VATSIM, just put noobie in your flightplan and the controller and pilot's will be happy to help you
out.
Offline flying is so boring, id rather talk to to a real person who actually know's what hes on about unlike the crap AI ATC, anyday. But each
to his own.
Don't be scared of the rule's, just follow the basic's are u'll be fine

What I do know to be against the rules is using non-approved third party applications that access the VATSIM network directly,
which I'm sure doesn't apply to FSPax. Also against the rules are simulated hijackings, or terrorist-type events generally. Also it is
allowable to simulate an emergency and you can have a reasonable expectation that the ATCO will go along with this. (You may even be
asked by ATC to simulate an emergency during an ATC exam).

However, if asked by ATC you must immediately discontinue the emergency.

There's alot to read here guys and I've been a way for a few days, sorry. Dan - It's indeed real. Infact, I recieved the same message
for using an @aim.com Email address, had to re-register on a different computer/ISP.

I guess alot of people disagree with this, me to. Although, it is infact real. Mabey some ATC/Supervisors are more strict then others? I
remember when I was really new to VATSIM some helped me out (Like when I paused my FS with VATSIM still ruinning, one supervisor
was very helpful and calmly told me that it's not allowed, another disconnected me.)

NEM - I read it somewhere... hmm.... anyways my VA domicille also told me to take off all of the emergencies. This goes for all four I am
with, Jetsgo Airlines VIrtual, United Airlines VIrtual, Pacific Airways Fiji & Westjet.

I won't be too legal (after all, this is my job ) but I'm pretty sure nobody can be ban like that on Vatsim.

Accordingly to their Rules, a Supervisor cannot ban anyone. He can only suspend temporarily or removed the member from the net for a
24 hours period. Only a DCRM (Divisional Conflict Resolution Manager can ban someone, and only after an investigation, and only after
ask the member his point of view...
