Did anyone read their VATSIM handbook lol? It sais that programs that simulate failures while flying (Gear
disabled, flaps disabled,
emergency landing etc) are BANNED and restricted while using the VATSIM Networks. The main point of FsP,
although, is fine. You
know, having your passengers fed and that stuff.

A friend of mine was just permanently suspended for using Fs Passengers while flying with VATSIM, he retracted
his gear to late after
take-off and the were damaged. He tried to tell San Francisco Ground but they reported him to a supervisor! A little
tip, they can detect
when third party applications are being used on VATSIM!! Just a little warning to be careful. Here's the message

Two cent from me, not about hijackings or terrorism simulated, thats not an option of an Simulator!!!
But all other things like an damage of an airplane simulated, thats forbidden to VATSIM Networks, like hear an joke!

I dont know the rules of VATSIMs, because iam flying online with IVAO, but such rules to banned, only uses third programs,
would changes pilotes to another networks, and VATSIM can be closed.

VATSIM's really strict, but I still love it. They tell you don't PM the ATC but the ATC is usually really nice, I've added a few to
MSN.

I have been using FSPAX for months now on VATSIM without ANY INICDENT!

What IS against the rules is causing problems with other people. If you have a program that somehow can shoot down another player then there is a
problem. Emergancies are allowed on VATSIM so long as they are not "Im bored and I want to do something else" or "i'm going to mess with the
controller" 9/10 times a controller can tell.

If that letter is in fact real then I suggest your friend e-mail VATSIM.

sounds like he had a really crabby ATC and thus lied about what really happened. I was on Vatsim on a flight from KMEM to KMIA, Tuned into a tower
just to listen to the various stuff going on. One pilot took off, had some sort of failure, lost an engine and hydralics all at the same time, I didnt
hear the ATC complain. Im sorry but thats just bull, this kind of stuff happens to real pilots, where is the reality here????? VATSIM tries to do that
kinda stuff they should be closed down.

Since you obviously read their rules, could you please tell me in which paragraph you read that. It seems to have mysteriously vanished.

It's not that hard to look up the paragraph about emergencies in the VATSIM regulations by yourself, is it? But no "oh, some guy said this and that about whoever, I'll just believe everything I read on the net". Ridiculous.

For all the lazy bums out there:

8. Pilots are permitted to declare in-flight emergencies. If, for any reason, air traffic control requests the pilot to terminate the emergency, then the pilot must do so IMMEDIATELY or log off of VATSIM. Pilots are not permitted to simulate, in any manner, an unlawful act while logged onto the VATSIM.net network including, but not limited to, declaring a hijack by statement utilizing either voice or text or by entering a transponder code of 7500.

Maybe the controller asked Jetsgo's friend to terminate that emergency because things were getting over his head at KSFO? Remember there are amateurs on BOTH sides in a FS network. If he ignored such a request he suffers the consequences.

Although I guess there is much more to this story that we don't know about, you don't get a permanent ban from VATSIM for nothing.

Same here. I've used FsP a LONG time at VATSIM and never had any problems with them. Their friendly, helpful and often very skilled. I love flying
with VATSIM, since it IS "as real as it gets", so I would most certainly consider this being BS.
