[Beta] VoicePackCreator for FsPassengers 04 and X

On vista ultimate 64. 100% stable.
i do close down Voice recorder before i boot up FS tho.
still wont die dan...

FollowUp: I ran a defrag overnight and this morning I attempted it again. Same result. Re-installed your application and it
is working fine now

Conclusion: It might have been a fluke that it did not work but a re-install fixed it. I will try to break it Dan even if it kills me

I'm very intterested by vista user feedback as this new version contain vista specific security feature.
It's based on my reading of Vista's specific things but I can't test it at all as I don't own vista.

-Does this new version trigger UAC alert or any vista alert ?
-Does it trigger any alert when running on a non-administrator account ?
-Does creation of new voicepack, saving of new sound, text work fine (on both admin and non-admin account) ?
-IMPORTANT: Does VPC is installed in Program file directory (if your Fs2004 folder is here)
-Does it work fine in any situation ?

CHANGES:
-Vista manifest declare it as "adminsecurity"
-Now with "xp look"
-Music filter volume increased.
-Check install folder and inform if not properly installed.

I have made a voice pack with it already!

dont know if it is you that upload tese files!

But i think it would be great if you could record for longer than one minute!
My Safety ann is a mess when i had to filter it by windows ''lydoptager'' i think it is Sound Recorder in English!
Just a request! And is there a way i could change this?

Announce more than 1 minute is really rare in reality (I'm not aware of one announcment that may last more than 1 minute)
1 minute is very long, maybe try to speak faster ?

Anyway I've limited it so one voicepack doesn't become to huge.

Hey Dan, right i'll start going through your list.

it does trigger UAC alert but then again so does 80% of all apps within vista, after allowing the program to start it works fine

works absolutely fine just as before in beta 1. still no issues

i dont quite know what u mean here dan, i just copied across the bin and utilities folders again, overwriting the beta 1 files

-Does it work fine in any situation ?
as i said before, no noticeable change apart from the UAC at start up, works a treat!

Already uploaded it yeah i tried speaking faster! But it is only the Safety Announcement that matters!

But i made it with the SoundRecorder and filtered it!

Yep, it all seems to work fine for me! I haven't had the time to finish my pack "english with french accent pack" though :p Hopefully the week end
will give me more time to do so.

I would love to make a voice pack with a strong regional accent but unfortunately I stutter I'm not sure any of you want a stuttering co-pilot :P

CHANGE:
I've removed the "require administrator" security level and replaced with "Asinvoker", if it work without that why annoying
peoples with UAC popup ? Can you please check again if this version work also fine on lower level account possible ?
Does it trigger any UAC warning ? still work fine ?

Hey Dan.
ok firstly, the voice pack works fine on the vista standard accounts without asking for admin through UAC.
also on doing so i found that if you use a vista admin account, no-matter what exe you open, UAC ALWAYS cuts in, where as on the
standard it only will on programs that could harm vista.
so there is no way you could get past this unless you change vista lol.

VP works fine on standard account as said above, same as admin account.

and thank you dan for letting me help and get involved, your the 1 who needs the thanks, your the 1 doing this for us anyway so

VPC works fine for me (admin account on Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit). I haven't had any problems before, but I believe I may
have modified permissions for the FS folder so that I wouldn't have to allow things via UAC (I trust all my FS add-ons. Don't break that trust
by putting something malicious in FsP Dan! Kaspersky will obliterate it, then I'll obliterate you xD).

Anyway. Seems to be working fine atm. Any glitches, I'll let you know.

Actually, having a voicepack with stuttering would be pretty neat, if you ask me. And may add some realism, if you consider there's
probably at least one rl stuttering pilot out there.
