Hello!
I have now my third virtual air company named 'Berlin Tempelhof Airlines'. My host as the name already shows is Berlin Tempelhof (EDDI) an airport I
have some very nice memories from my childhood. I have flown from there several times. Lately I receive a little birthday present from my mother where
was a very nice goody included. A flight ticket and a flight bulletin from British European Airways from the 10.04.1969, flight number 1163 and 1166,
from Tempelhof to Hamburg and back in a Vicker Viscount (reg.no. GAOHH). Exactly this aircraft is availabel for fs9 and I tried it some times
but give it up because the fuel usage is absolutely unrealistic high.
The flight bulletin gives the following informations about the flight:
The captain was Mr.Finke and the stewards have been Frl. Rodinke and Frl.Thomas
Flight altitude was 9500 feet / 3000 meters
Cruise speed was 310 mph / 500 kmh
Flight duration was 40 minutes
I memorise that flight very good because I had a very serious conversation with an airline captain who was sitting beside me on this flight. As
serious as a nine years old boy can be :-) This and some other flights from EDDI gives me a very strong feeling towards this airfield, so I choose it
as my host.
My fleet includes in the moment these aircrafts:
- B737-800 - Winglets
- B737-900
- Embraer 145 XR
- Embraer 170
- Airbus A318-111 CFM
- Airbus A320-200
- deHavilland Dash 7-100
- crj 700
- Beech D18S
- AC500S White Shrike
- AC500S Blue Shrike
My destinations are mostly domestic flights inside Germany and several cities inside Middle Europe and private charter flights. Sometimes I also fly
to several domestic destianations inside Indonesia from Klakah Airfield (a scenery which I made myself), where I was living for seven years.
My next investment will be the PMDG 747 as soon as my real and my virtual capital allows it...
Mick!
