Dont' get me wrong.....But I was thinking of asking you to somehow fix this? Thats' the only window that cause problems, Well shift-i does it too but anyway....since Nvidia aint' gonna do it maybe you could? I mean all the other windows...Like PMDG.....LDS....etc...All open o-kay? RUNNING FOR COVER............................. Jeff T.

radar contact 4 is the same as FsP
rc4 dont work with some drivers, does with others. Post Edited ( 01-03-06 20:02 )

sorry it's impossible to fix this for me... the window is a plain
normal overlapping window, no cheat used and there is no other way to do it over the Fs2004 display for a child window. The problem is with the driver I can't do anything here... Dan

It's something that can be lived with, Just means you adjust your settings before using Passnegers. Oh well, never hurts to ask.

Download Omega drivers......I had the same problems with all types of HTML type windows there would be black underneath and around correct? (please
excuse me if i have misread) not just the minidisplay, but the kneeboard as well as the plane selection window in the initial window in FS9. as well aniso and antialiasing set to max....the ground textures. I tried the omega drivers and voila.....no more problems. Hope this helps

I also have the same problem if the mini window is open using lds767, all the click spots become unusable on the 767, hope the next fs fixes these
issues related to AA and nvidia. Paul.

OK,
Can someone please explain FS Hardware Display setup re: Anti Aliasing and the others? I have just changed my Nvidia 6600 card for a Gainward 6800GT thinking I would double or even tripple my Frame Rates. But I'm only avaraging around 25 to 35 fps using default 737 flying over USA at FL330 I'm sure I was getting that with the old card, or near that! My FS9 settings are set on High Scenery, Aircraft Low, Weather Medium High and Hardware set 0n 1024x768x32 with all tick boxex ticked, Mip Mapping on 8, Rendered Lights on 4 and Global Max texture on medium. The question is, what should these settings be. Oh yes my mobo and CPU are - ASRock K7V4APro with updated Bios to 1.4 ( this updates BIOS to tackle the 6800 card) The CPU is a AMD Sempron 2800 (Runs at 2000 KHtz. I expect it is the CPU at fault and I'mm looking to change it to a Athlon XP 3200 when I have the funds. Slinger147

I've got the GeForce 6600 256MB, and I'm getting 25-28 FPS at higher altitudes and no appreciable cloud formation. But, when the clouds
start popping up, the FPS drops down to 17 or so... briefly. I have the FPS locked at 30. Yesterday I had my IT guy at work do some tweaking on my PC to squeeze out more FPS. I think the key to mine was shutting down some programs that usually load during start up...the ones that run in the background. Even though I have the program "FSStart", I wasn't for certain which programs I should stop while in FS9. So, I had my IT guy select the ones I could shut down, save them in FSStart(or FSStartup) and run this program before loading FS9. It's quite nice having this program....plus, it's FREE. Let's not forget that defragging your pc often can help out,too. I defrag mine using "Power Defragger". It's sooo much faster and better than "TuneXp" or the Windows defragger already in the system. Next month I plan on upgrading my graphics card to a GeForce 6800. Even though my 6600 is doing a decent job, I know the 6800 can process the graphics must faster than the 6600. It'll be worth the $$ to upgrade.
