I remember in FS 95 and 98 that crash effects where included and active. don't remember for FS2000 and did not have DS2002.
As far as I know, they are still in the FS2004 program but de-activated, ideed as wrote Turbine and 9889 related to 9/11.
When I crash, I am ussually rather pissed off so, I don't really need fancy crash effect. What I would prefere is to see and understand how
it happened. Currently, after a crash, the flight is immediately reset. I would prefere a pose and have the possibility to replay and browse
the flight data within the lasts minuts before the crash to point where was my error.
About fancy effects I rather prefere things like flexing wings upont ground or turbulence shaking, water or dust projection due to wake or
reverses, better strobe blinks and light beams effects.
