YA, cool emergency!

You know, I had this problem in the F1 Super 80. Ah, it was KLAX...

I attempted 4 times to do it after a long 2k nm flight.. on the fifth attempt the tanks died and I had to attempt to glide in; the problem? I had
just rotated from the runway on a failed bounce. I landed smoothly in the ocean. Everyone died.

On the PMDG 737 it only took 2 tries to get it to work, which it did, and I landed perfectly. Guess the Super 80 just is'nt so Super XD.

I concur with KenG. During a problem, the last thing one would want to do is to compound the problem. Boucing the plane sounds
problematic in that it could introduce additional crisis should other things occur. I would attempt manual intervention and if that doesn't
work, plan for a gear up landing.
