Actually, I think it is quite realistic. But, like the lot of us, I've never been above FL370.

Forget about the panels, Ivo...

It's all about physics!

I just can't imagine a "realistic panel" of the shuttle.

I must say, however, the panel of the Appolo program (NASSP) is unusable without learning the use of the 100+ switches and buttons...

are the dynamics of Orbiter really good? I've obviously never been in Space so I can't tell.

On NASSP (Apollo), extremely reasistic (I think). I only used that and DGIII. Obviously DGIII isn't exactly realistic as it doesn't actually exist.
I know that the engine is more powerful and lighter (and uses less fuel) than what can be produced now.

S3 is a speceflight simulator specialized to the spaceshuttle, (only earth orbit) best part is the detaild onboard systems, procedures,
cape and huiston groundcontrol, great 2d cockpit panels

the graphics are good, but with all spaceshuttle updates, orbiter has taken over.
