Turbulence, can't see it.

First of all just bought this prog and WOW! it's ruined my social life, can't get of it. One thing puzzles me though, taking off from
Manchester UK most of the time the pax gets frightened from Turbulence. Surley you can't see Turbulance coming so why is this
important enough to be announced or included?, it's not your fault, or is it?. How can you avoid it if you cannot see it?.

Martyn, I'm sorry to hear that howewer the next update will include
virtuall friend, wife and kids so you'll not need to bother about social life
anymore...

Actually if you have a weather radar addon (and tuned it correctly) you will be able to avoid many annoyances like turbulences. Well, ok, not right on
takeoff. But why shouldn't it be shown that the pax are a bit worried by the shaking, just because it's not your fault? If you have a birdstrike it
ain't your fault either, still it'll scare the hell out of your passengers and you will be told so - fortunately.

I did notice that, bumpa during takeoff take satisfaction downa f ew points, nothing a few drinks won't fix

You can't see gas once in the aircraft. Why include it???

I'm sure you see my point: turbulence, like gas, has a direct impact on your flight in the eye of the passengers and it will have a direct impact on your skills if not handled properly. That's why it's included.

I am having this trouble as well. I wish there was a way to tell where the turbulence is.

THERE IS! Clouds have turbulence... wind has turbulence. The type of turbulence we call CAT (clear air turbulence) isn't really detectable
in FS9, as the simulation doesn't accurately model thermals, updrafts, cloud formations, and other things that may alert you to CAT.

I took off from SFO yesterday an went through 5k of turbulence and I was in static fair weather and there was no signs of clouds or anything

Do you have the new version of ActiveSky? It may be that you have thermals and/or wake turbulence turned on. Wake turbulence is most
likely what you are experiencing on takeoff, especially if you are in a small aircraft taking off behind a larger one.

Turbulence is just another part of flying. As long as pieces are not falling from your aircraft, just have your pax get their seatbelts on and go for
it.

I think its a definite perk to have turbulence added.

Ever been on an actual flight where you hit some severe turbulence? The pilot or the main steward/ess will let passengers know, and tell
them to put on their seatbelts. Not only that, there are those who fear turbulence. I know Ive been on some flights where my stomach was
in butterflies because of it, so yes, some people will fear it and think they had a bad flight because of it even though its not the airlines
fault
