Idea for update

I know the last thing dan needs is another sim pilot with an idea for an update/upgrade but this one has finally chewed its way out. how
about the ability to return to the gate for repair if you get a fault before takeoff? I got the idea from watching a FO doing the walkaround
while they were anouncing the flight me and the guy sitting next to me were gathering up our stuff when i noticed that something had
caught the FO's attention about mid span on a MD-82 and we got to spend an extra 30 min waiting while they fixed the les

Usually, the aircraft is checked sufficiently so that a gate turnback is hardly EVER required anymore. The only reason we would turn back
to the gate would be a miscellaneous problem with a PAX. Thanks for the idea though!
