I find you have to be more on the ball flying the 757 as it is harder to get a good landing in a 757, is this like the real aircraft?

How many find Captain Sims 757 harder to fly?

I was flying the CS 757-300 on a regular basis on FsP flights until I got the LD 767
![]() difficult to nail down the correct approach speed and flap settings to make a smooth landing. Only once have I landed that airplane with a -120 ft/min ROD. The rest of my landings were -200 to -500 ft/min. I have to say that it is a great airplane to use while using FS Navigator.

I love flying it, but it is very easy to over speed and landings are tricky as well.

When are your overspeeds occurring? Takeoffs? Descents? Both? Anytime I fly the aircraft I have the auto throttle armed for 240 KIAS.
Once airborne, I activate the auto throttle to ensure of no overspeed below 10K. On descent is another story. You have to carefully plan out your rate of descent. Target the airspeed you need then use the airbrakes if needed. The airbrakes work great on that airplane. I think I have had one overspeed but that occurred at high altitudes and flying at speeds too close to the Vmo. A good wind shift from a tail wind to a head wind will cause an overspeed in a situation where you have the aircraft flying close to the Vmo speed.

The problem is there is no referance for VMO as Block F is not out yet, so not everything works as it should.

wow guys i have never had a problem with that aircraft. in fact i got my best ever touchdown rate of -41 fpm on it. Also one time i had a flap
failure upon landing, i still got -90 fmp. not to brag or anything ![]() ![]() ![]()

I think the aircraft is just more responsive and takes getting used to.
One cool thing is the auto pilot can be used in altitude hold mode andturned manualy. ![]()

I find the Posky 757 real nice, And flys like a big bird too, so long as you dont have the EZ FDE (your a wimp if you do), I love that bird. I really
wish boeing didnt retire it, oh well, its gonna keep flying for another decade at least.
