Are you landing too fast?
Are you landing overweight?

Make sure your descent rate is at or below -500 feet per minute/second
Make sure your landing speed is around 145 Make sure you have the proper flap setting

It's very simple.
FEEL THE RUNWAY LOVE THE RUNWAY BE THE RUNWAY Do those things, and you'll land great every time. Or, your passengers will think you're crazy. Either way, problem solved ![]() P.S. If you REALLY want a greaser, add a little bit of humming while you're doing the first 3 rules. ![]() ![]() ______________________________________ Brandon Jones Western Michigan University College of Aviation Aviation Flight Sciences Major FAA Certified Flight Instructor Cirrus SR20

I fly a stableized apprpoached keeping the airspeed nailed, even using auto throttle helps, then for the flair, I rotate the nose to aout 5 to
7degrees and hold that untill the tires kiss the pavement. Post Edited ( 08-03-06 08:11 ) ![]()
