Could anyone enlighten me as to the workings of this add on? I've been flying here there and everywhere just basically going where I please. But lately I've been reading there is more profit to be made flying from a regular airport or route? Is this the case?

Well, yes. If you noticed that when you began your flying adventures with FsP, you weren't able to carry to the capacity of the airplane because your company is a "start up" operation. Once you have flown in and out of particular locations more and more, you notice an "up tick" in capacity. This may be tied in with satisfaction as well The prices and quality you set also factor in to the number of paxs boarding the aircraft and what they are willing to pay for as far as quality is concerned. To make a very profitable flight, especially with large airliners, I like to fly cargo. I can garner $25 million minimum per flight and as much as $35+ million per flight. You don't lose nearly as much $$ on distances over 1,300 nm when flying cargo only. This does happen on passenger flights, however.

So, if you have a really good payload model, you can establish a decent mix of cargo and passengers to lessen the loss of $$ during the long hauls. It's up to you on how you approach profitability within your company. And, of course there is a wealth of information within the forums and in the documentation that comes with the software.
