Introductions & Looking for a FS2004 Piper PA-46 Malibu (not Mirage or Meridian)

Hi everyone,

I’ll introduce myself to the group…

My name is Todd Giencke. I’ve been an aircraft, powerplant, and avionics mechanic for 16 years. I have my private pilot’s license and use flight simulator 2004 to
stay current for minimal VFR & IFR conditions.

I have had the dream of starting up an on-demand air taxi for some time. But the reality of it is; it is very hard to make a living in the air taxi business. But now with
FS Passengers I can try to make a virtual living doing a small air taxi.

I have done the aircraft research in the real world and have come to the conclusion that the Piper PA-46 Malibu is the best aircraft for the payload, speed, range
compromise. I.e. 4 real people with bags, 205 knots, 1350nm range. Say direct flights from Minneapolis to Miami on ~120 gallons of fuel.

If anyone was wondering why this isn’t being done in the real world it’s because the Malibu is a maintenance hog and that eats any profits. But that isn’t such a
problem in FS Passengers. And the Malibu is one of the most efficient aircraft with great range.

So now I’m looking for a very good Piper PA-46 Malibu add-on for FS2004 and I’m willing to pay for it. It has to be a Malibu and not a Mirage or Meridian, because
the later don’t have the range I need.

The only Malibu I have found is the old FS2000 – FS2002 add-on from Abacus’s Private Pilot 1 series. I have Abacus’s Private Pilot 2 series and wasn’t that
impressed being that it is payware.

Anyone have any leads on where I can find a good FS2004 version of a Piper PA-46 Malibu?
