I just got a big surprise.
I shut down the flight attendances voice.
Took a flight and was panelized for not turning on and off the seat belt sigh.
Every time I do something different I learn the hard way.
Instructions would be a big help.
I know many of you talk to ATC but why cant you talk to me .?????????????????????????

Checklists are very helpful, and are REQUIRED in all commercial aviation flights. Most commercial aviation corporations (airlines... lol)
use "flows" followed by checklists. A "flow" is basically an easy to remember step-by-step procedure for different stages of flight. I have
all the 737 flows applicable to my airline memorized, and this makes flying by a checklist MUCH easier, and less stressful/time
consuming. Flows are completed prior to a checklist (usually the FO reads the checklist out loud), and checklists are just as the name
implies; CHECKLISTS! Their sole purpose is to verify that we didn't make any mistake on our flows, and check the items that MUST be
checked. You don't perform tasks in the cockpit as they appear on the checklist (usually)... they're just safeguards!
