what's everyone's favourite FSP emergency so far

Mine has to be the other night in the Captainsim herc. Flying it for only the second time in a mission and on approach to Ramstein as we
put the gear down my CP announces "uh oh, looks like the gear is jammed or not locked down, better try a bounce to try and free it"

So I'm thinking, hmm, last time I had a gear problem I crashed and burned. Anyway I touched down but the gear still apparently hadn't
locked, nevertheless continued on and let the nose settle with no further issues. Got over 700 points for that little "mishap". Gave the UN
maintainance crew a piece of my mind too.

Mine would be when I when I took off from somewhere in russia, I got to 100ft when engine 3 was struck with a bird. I turned arround to
land and as I was on final approach another bird flew into engine 2! A few days later I took off from the same airport and had
another bird strike. That's when I decided never to fly in Russia again!

I would say a bird strike or a depressurization from cracked glass.

But then again now flying the CS C130, I have my load set up to show 3 crew, 4 tech staff, and I can take up to 25 refugees (free for crew
and tech staff and $100 each for refugees) and haul them around from war torn countries, or places where natural disasters have
happened. But flying into or out of a war zone can be a bit of a danger and unless its a severe emergency I wont land until Im in a safer
area.

I have had so far, in a month or two (about 150-200hrs), in the stock FS9 B734:

right main gear brake failure after touchdown at LAX... uneventful.

#2 Engine loss at 12000 on departure from denver (not birdstrike).. I was very heavy, and the airport was 1/8sm in snow. I wasn't paying
attention to airspeed as I was looking for the app plate for the ILS 35L, friggin thing got slow, and it spun around, stalled. crash. irritating
that I dont have rudder pedals, maybe that would help. rudder trim didnt.

Single gear (right main) not locked down going into LAX (of all places, remembering jetblue a few weeks earlier). bouncy bouncy to lock it
down. took 3 touch n goes, finally smacked it almost -1000 fpm and that worked. very fun.

Birdstrike on #2 engine 3000 agl departing from pocatello idaho. this time I paid attention, landed uneventfully, weather was CAVU so
that helped keeping it high and hot on approach, which apparently you need to do with the stock 734 to keep it from spinning like a
chinese flower firework. (think 170 vref, flaps 15). very fun and exciting!

gear failure, this time all gear don't go down. belly landing into seattle. easy as cake. uneventful.

I'm looking forward to see whats next..

I got the most points for the belly landing, I think +1250, however the single engine landings are the most challenging and fun..

fell asleep in front of the computer so obviously after a few minutes fs9 canceld my ifr plan (not my emergency) but i didnt notice that fsp had
punctured my right fuel tank and i lost all my fuel there, so for some misterious reason (to teh sleepy me at the time) i ran out of fuel and had
glide in without engines but because it was an emergancy fsp wasent unhappy about me going till i lost all my fuel

Ive never had an engine failure, bird strike, or decompression.. ive done maybe 25 flights on 100% failure and about 100+ flights with
15% failure?

weird.. in the last 2 weeks i've had all mine, failure only at 5% and i keep my a/c maintained too.. in fact, right after my last post, I flew
KRNO-KPDX, and had my right wing tank go dry. "ruptured fuel tank". i was still able to continue to dest, and had no troubles.

Had some fun last night. Now that I have my CS C-130 payload set to be able to carry refugees (make small money on them - $50 to 100
per person) plus tech staff of 4 to 9 people, and 3 crew, I landed in Afghanistan last night I managed to get shot up pretty bad, so much
so it will be a while before I repair that C-130, so in my mind we flew in another one. On take off I received one hit on engine 3, shut it off
and feathered it, cut the power, the fuel flow etc, and continued climbing as fast as I could push her, but at that time I didnt declare an
emergency figuring the C-130 was capable of flying on 3 engines. Reached my cruising altitude, and flew into Poland, declared my
emergency as landing with 3 engines was probably more of an emergency than taking off, and landed safely.

Must say that was a lot of fun and definitely enjoy flying into and out of war zones on rare occasions. Eventually I will have to fly back into
Afghanistan to repair my other damaged C-130

I started a new company after re-installing FS9 from the ground up, and when I say I ground up, I mean delete everything in the FS9 folder. Well my
new company is flying in the carribian, well, looked at the map for a good place to go, I chose hatai (didnt know it at the time) So mid-flight I
found out Im flying into a warzone. I thought, "well 20% cant be too bad" WRONG!!. stupid rebels shot out one of my fuel tanks and my electrical
system. needless to say I aint going back anytime soon.

just last night i flew from la to san francisco on approch to ksfo fs9 said i should land at runway 19L meaning that i had to fly above the east side
of the bay, well i forgot to change the demo setting on kccr form 100% war risk, i didn't fly directly over the airport but my war risk went up to 73%
needless to say i got shot up pretty bad and my maintenece cost on my 737 was $7,868,936, my budget was only 43,330,890 in surance paid for 66%
of the of the cost but they went up by 2.79%

I feel your pain. My C130 that flew into Afghanistan last night has damages totalling $68,000,000. I only paid 43 mill for it but I will get this
one fixed eventually and fly it out of Kabul within the next couple of weeks. Scrap selling it would get me 11 million, but I like that C130 and
figure considering the damages she got my pax and I down safely, so deserves a 'fixin'up'

I had a engine loss shortly after take-off from KSFO once. Engine #2.

I declared an emergency and I returned to land. Unfortunately on approach, ATC puts me too close behind a Pacifica MD-80 and ATC
requests me to go-around.
You can guess what happened next, I pulled back on the yoke, a bit too much. My first officer was saying to me: "What are you doing!?"
So I gave full power..eehh...BIG mistake, my plane rolled over to the right, I tried to turn left again with yoke and pedals but it was too late.
The plane stalled and crashed just next to the airport.

Now i'm REALLY carefull with go-arounds, especially with 1 engine

i hate it that there's no option for an emergency in MSFS itself.
