POSKY 747's

Hey, is it just me or has anyone else noticed how extremely sensitive posky 747's are to tailstrikes? i mean the other day i was taking off
in a BA744 and i lifted the nose and pretty much straight away BAM! tailstrike and the nose wasnt that high?!
Can anyone help?

You will have a tailstrike if the nose is higher than 11 degrees (if I remember well). It is the same for every plane, so it should not be
different with the Posky 747...

I have the POSKY South African Circa 2003 747, works just fine...

You will ahve a tail strike if the tail hits the runway...depending on the plane and its contact points that could be above 10 degrees. On the POSKY
767 it is 15 degrees. I flew the POSKY 767 on FsP and never had a tail strike problem rotating to 15 degrees before take off.

yeah i know its 11degrees but i cant get it past 5 degrees without tailstrike i think the contact pointss are out of sync with the plane mabe?

I dont remember any probs with my POSKY 747, but the POSKY 767 has a climbing problem thats annoying.

I have to second that motion, and I find that the 757's have a problem climbing as well, as I get to 33-35,000 ft the plane begins to stall.

You're crazy, EDawg. Above 30000ft I'm climbing at 1900ft/min in the POSKY 757-200 with little effort.

Agreed on the 757. It works fine. Make sure you have all of the updates available from projectopensky.com.

Same goes with the 747. It works fine. My only complaint is when you load the aircraft, it "slams" down into the ground like it just fell out
of a tree. Make sure you're reaching proper rotation speed before you lift the nose off. With a full load, you should be seeing a V2 (safety
speed) of about 190 KIAS.
