[TOPIC MOVED]Plane does not clear the loading ramps and vehicles that magically appear??

This is a very odd thing..that only happens now that I have installed your purchased program. I am flying a
Lockheed L1011-500 Tristar
(Perfect Flight -http://www.fs2000.org/tristar/index.htm..[yah right!]), but this seems to happen with any plane that I
try. I start the flight with
FSPassengers as per instructions, the right profile appears (which I have constructed..no problem)..and the
program starts loading the
passengers....but when I look at the spot view, I noticed that each door has a loading ramp and vehicles (I choose
the option to do the
real time loading over what I specify as a ten minute period) - after I use the shift-E keys to open the door..as
instructed in the
FSPassenger dialogue box. The passengers are loaded and the Stewardess closes the door...but low and
behold the ramps are still
attached to the plane!!! This is the problem..no matter what I do.. I can get rid of those magically appearing
loading ramps!!!! I can taxi
with them attached..but obviously when I take off with them..the plane crashes..no wonder eh. Do you have any
suggestions...even a
description of where these are coming from???

The other problem I am having is that when I use the keys for playing Music...nothing plays..Is their a folder that
you have to put music into
in order to play the files?...I have changed the key from cntrl-shift-T to simply T..but no difference...This sequence
is not toggling anything.

This looks quite odd as FSPassenger does not add any visual stuff. So, certainly, those vehicles and ramp are from some other add ons. They are
sometimes triggered by the COM2 frequency. FSP tune your COM2 on 118.20 could it be that those vehicles are also called by 118.20 on com2 ?

Try to tune COM2 on something else and check...

About the music check if you have in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\FsPassengers\Sound\CrewPack\Default

5 files called ambientmusic0.wav to ambientmusic5.wav. otherwise... No idea..

Thanks for your help here. I have tested a few more planes and it seems that you are right..likely to do with the COM frequency setting.
Sorry for the false alarm..I think in any case that any further problems lie with Perfect Flight support...
Can you add songs..by changing the file name of your choice to ambientsoundx.wav? Can you play *.mp3 files? if not, it would be a great
thing to have...you need a variety of music for you passengers!!

Yes, you can add custom music for your PAX. Search through the FSP folder in the FS9 directory, and find the file that plays the music.
You can replace it with your own (just rename your file, and delete or backup the other one). Since the initial problem you reported didn't
have anything to do with FSP, I'm moving this thread to the FS9 forum. Thanks for posting!
