weird fuel consumption

i'm flying the default baron 58 and i noticed something weird.
Take a look at the fuel gauges:



As you can see, the left tank is less full. Both engines have the exact same Fuel Flow and cross feeding is off. Both tanks had the same
amount of fuel when the engines were started.

Any explanations?

Perhaps this is one of the in flight emergencies you can get.

I have had occasions where either the left OR right tank developed a leak during flight

Did you set the fuel level with FSP? FSP's fuel setting utility is known to set the tanks with no regard to balance. Use the FS2004 fuel
setting utility.

That's most likely your problem. See, FSP will load the AMOUNT of fuel you specify, however it doesn't have the logic of where to put that
amount, so it will occasionally be unbalanced. If you set it via the FS menu, prior to initiating FSP, you shouldn't have a problem; not to
mention that you have more specific control over the filling of your tanks.

Hey, that would make a good improvement for the nest version, instead of entering an amount of fuel as a whole, ehter a fuel amount for
each individual tank.
