Following lessons with FS2004

I just obtained my First Solo flight diploma, but the problem is that I don't have any commentary when I try to follow the Private Student lessons. So
I can't obtain the next diploma because I don't know what to do. I get no instructions at all.
It is linked to FSPassenger too because I can't set up a career mode pilot because I need the diplomas.

Can anyone help me plz?

PS:
- The filesize of my 'lessons' folder is 9,69 MB (10.170.044 bytes)
- Using FS2004 - 9.1 Patch
- I did get instructions/commentary when I did the lessons for my first diploma. But after that, nothing..

Why do you need the diplomas for FSP?? I don't have any and I already have one pilot at C1 and another well on the way. The ranks are
only names, to give you something to aim for. If you know how to fly then you can fly pretty much anything in FS. At the mo' I'm flying
singles since I don't have any of my 7 pilots ready for anything bigger. But if I'd flown on pilot I would be something like a C5 or C6 by now.

ok I found out that i dont need the diplomas for FSP:D
But still.. I want to get my lessons working

Ah now that part I can understand. The only thing I can think to try is go into the settings and check whether the volume is up on the
lessons in the sound part, just in case it got turned down somehow.

If that doesn't work (I don't think it will since you don't even have the text display), you can try reinstalling Fs2004.

I think I had that problem once, turned out that the soundfile for FS2004 was missing (no sounds mean no text as well, for whatever freak reason).

Check if your FS folder contains the sound\lessons folder. If it doesn't, or if it does but there are less than 1165 files in it, restore the original
sound folder from one of your FS install CDs (I think it's number one or two). It'll be in one of the *.cab files on the CD, you can open them with
Winzip or similar.
