fspassengers for fsx

J have Flight simulator X, J have acquired fspassengers but it does not work with fsx you can help me?

The current version is for FS2004 (FS9) only. Dan, the programmer of this software - is currently working on a version for FSX but no
release date can be announced yet.

I dont know about you, but when i refer to 'acquiring' something, i am not referring to using money to obtain it, hence my questioning. Obviously it just could be a language issue

Drew - businesses buy other businesses - those are referred to as "acquisitions", which is a derivative of the word "acquire"

Also, if I buy some shares in a company, then I am acquiring a stake in a business.

Both of those examples involve monetary exchange

It'll be a language issue, hence why he is saying "J" instead of "I"

Welcome, Francescoto Sadly, no, FsPassengers 2004 doesn't work with Flight Simulator X. The differences between FS9 and FSX are apparently
quite major in some respects. However, Dan is working on a new version of FsPassengers.

He has assured us that the new version of FsPassengers will work with the database from the FS9 version, so we won't all have to start over.

If I aquired something, I would have stolen it or something along those lines :S Not that I have or would, just my opinion on how I read

Ok...now I have to add my two cents. Acquiring imho describes the act of obtaining something that CAN include buying with the help
of money but not exclusively. It can also be by trading, receiving a gift or 'other' means of 'property changeover'.

I see some minor problems there. It may be that pilots, company reputation, money etc can be transferred but I have my sincere doubts
about the aircrafts. If an aircraft is not existing in FSX (as the fs9 version is not compatible and there is no FSX version) that's where it
stops imho. I can's see how Dan can bypass this problem.

Well - you certainly did make me welcome - you analyzed it, made all the right suggestions - and my "problem" was fixed!

Your addon has given me hours and hours of pleasure and enjoyment, and as you've, maybe, seen from a couple of my other posts - it's now the "stopper"
in my migration to FSX.

I reckon this was one of those language "misunderstandings", too . . . Ceemosp and Highlander share my understanding of "aquire". . thanks, guys.


It was a little tongue-in-cheek, too, but I don't usually use smileys, and should have.

I am still on FS9, and am currently thinkering about buying FSX.

Yesterday I tried out the FSPassengers Demo, its just awesome. Now I want to buy FSP too

I might appear to be lousy, but I have one question, though. If I buy FSPassengers (current version works only on FS9), will I have to
purchase the new (FSPassengers) edition intended for FSX? Or shall there be a free update for already registered users?
