Disable random flight attendant messages

There are like 10 random flight attendant messages that play randomly on flights. I get tired of hearing the same things over and over again, so I
would like to disable them (but keep all the other sounds). In a future version, is that something that can be controlled?

For now, I replaced all those sounds with empty sound files as a workaround.

Perhaps I wasn't clear.

What I want to disable are the sounds associated with the "Hostess in Cockpit" banner. You know, the ones where it says "The clouds look beautiful out
here", "Here's a coffee for you, captain", or "That man just screamed at a baby." I would like to disable those sounds, while leaving all the rest -
the serving sounds, the movie starting sounds, the announcements.

I've read that PDF file a few times, as well as the on-line tutorial and help messages, but have not found a way to disable particular sounds while
leaving the others active.

Have you taken a look in the FsP menu within FSX or P3D at all? When you expand the menu there are various settings/options to choose from.
You can access "FsPassengers Setup", expand this to show "Crew and GPWS Setup"....then go to "Crew Normal Text"....choose "Never Display Normal Crew Text". Save this option and try it out to see if it's to your liking.
In the same FsP Setup section, go to "Crew Sound Enable/Disable" ....you can disable normal crew sound and save the setting. Try it out as well to see if it's to your liking. Of course you can just change both settings together, save the settings and try a flight.
This is about as far as I can take you on the sounds part.

You can make your own soundpack, so you can leave those audio files "empty."

Thank you for understanding. That was extremely helpful. Wish there was a way other than having to make empty files, but that will do in the interim.

Hi,

I noted as "todo" the possibility to disable those sounds in setting (crew sound).
No promise anyway, I don't know when the last update will be released and if I'll have time. It's not a priority.

While waiting you can empty the "cruise_01.wav" to "cruise_10.wav" sounds in packs...
