Lost FS Passengers Code

Hi there.

I haven't been playing FSX for years, but I recently found the Gold Edition cheap so I want to get back into it. The thing is, I've lost my FSX
Passengers Code. I have contacted the author via the email address provided, but haven't received any reply - this was a good week or more ago.

I've already paid once, so I really don't want to have to shell out again. FSX feels dry and dull without FS Passengers.

You should be able to look at your account from wherever you purchased fsp. Your key should be found there.

That's the problem. I bought it a long time ago before I started using Paypal - I sent a Postal Order or something to the author so I have no record
of the transaction. I emailed him in the hope that he still has my name/address on file but I haven't heard back from him. I've trawled all my email
accounts, but I haven't been able to find any reference to it. I can't even remember whether I was sent a disc or a code!

If it has been a long time since you bought the code you may want to try here and see if you have an account with them.

Nope, no account with them as I bought it by sending payment directly to the author. Sounds as though I'm screwed and will have to shell out again.

Dan may peruse the forum but he hasn't actually posted anything in a very long time...as far as I know.

I'm sure it is aggravating....especially since you bought the program directly from Dan. I did the same thing, too, when I got FsPX. Fortunately I
saved the email with the serial code....just in case something like this happens

That's just it - I can remember if it was an email, or if I was sent a disk. Either way, lesson well and truly learned for next time!

I've just found out about 'FS Captain', and I have to say it sounds even better than FS Passengers. The level of support experienced by users is
better as well, so if I am going to drop £30 again on another add on, I'm going for FS Captain.

Either product though, these things are way over priced in my opinion; I mean £30?? That's basically the price of a newly released game, not an
expansion! And if you happen to lose the code as I have done, then you have to shell out again.

Having said that, after playing FS Captain for a while, the loading times every time you have to open that display thing are ridiculous...

Bought mine at the flightsimshop. Went to my account. Didn't see the unlock code. Disappointing as having it saved in a purchase account is much
preferable to saving in an email (HDD crash killed all my email about 3 months ago). Luckily I bought FSP after the HDD crash. I've got the code
written down but those things tend to get lost too.

Gotta be a better way.

Massive kudos to Dan - he sent me a new code today; it must have taken him one hell of a lot of digging out as I bought it years ago, and paid by
cheque/Postal order so there probably wasn't any email trail to follow.

Works fine so now I've got this I won't be dropping another £30 on FS Captain. I'm now going to print my code and pop it in my FSX case. I'm also
going to copy/paste the code into a text file to be put in the FSX installation location. Lesson learned!

Excellent idea! I just rebuilt my computer and I can't find the code. I'm sifting through gigs of data and backup before I pester Dan...
