I have seen a similar thread in this forum concerning a database error, mine is slightly different though.
Last night I done a flight using FS Passengers and everything was a OK.
After I finished that flight I then installed PMDG737NG, could not get this to run as FS2004 told me I needed an updated version of FSUIPC, which this
morning I got (FSUIPC v3.7.5.0) and installed and played around with the 737ng (not through FS Passengers though).
Then I installed and uninstalled Active Camera.
I hadn't used FS Passengers from last night until now and now I get an error message:-
FS2004 loads fine, no problem there.
When I click on the FS Passengers on the menu bar and the Company Manager I get this:-
Error Pilot and flight database on your disk is an old version. Hit yes if you want to replace it by a correct one (all your data will be lost). Hit
no if you want to exit FsPassengers without replacing it.
I hit NO
Next message says:-
Error -> database size doesn't match user choosed not to replace it. Exiting. FsPassengers will now exit.
Hit OK button.
Next message:-
Error, no company. Company doesn't exist. Unable to get data.
Hit OK button.
The FS Passengers button disappears from the menu bar along with the Modules button that was created by FSUIPC v3.7.5.0
I have copied my original Db to a separate folder on my drive, gone through the proceedure of starting FS Passengers again and told it to replace the
database which it did and in the newly created company I was not the pilot anymore but the 737 I had was still owned by this new company, wierd eh!
Anyway I then tried copying my Db back to the original folder inside FS Passengers only for the error to re-occur.
Is it a possibilty that one of the installs I have done between using FSP last night until tonight has corrupted it in some way?
Have I totally lost my data now?
Please help.
