Subject: War Zones?

Hey all,
I did a quick search and didn't find this topic, but i was flying into
heathrow this morning and was approaching 27R, and at about 20 NM
out, my passengers were frieghtened as hell, and i heard explosions going
off, and was told i was flying over a warzone. Is that a war
zone or just forbidden airspace that i had entered.

Yep: there is a "restricted area" over the London parliament. You can edit your "war zone areas" file (dangerous.cfg) and remove the following line if
you wish: "London Parliament;fail=0;war=100;lat=51.4957;lon=-0.122;range=2;".

And Zeder: as Drew pointed out back in August, this issue HAS been discussed in the past!

I can't even make an approach to Heathrow without having a CTD, so it won't matter about the war zone stuff
