No penalty and no damages for excess flaps speed limit and gear ????

Hello,
All the failures setting are set and the penalty enable (more_option.cfg)
I notice that i can excess more 10/30 kt the speed limit with the flaps and gear withou any penalty and no damages ?
I think it is not real,what do i have to change in the configuration to get damage if i excess the speed limit and don't respect the check list
exemple Baron 58
app flaps : 152 kt
Full flaps : 122 kt
gear : 152 kt

I was 30 kt above the speed limit
and any problem at the gates !!

Have you got 'aircraft stress causes damage' (or something similar, I can't rememer exactly!) ticked in the Flight Simulator aircraft realism
settings?

I'm not sure if it has an effect in FSP but I fly the default Baron 58 sometimes and the flap limit penalty certainly works on my system.

Normaly FSP respect the "check list" of each aircraft about the speed excess,
flaps and gear speed limit and causes damage no ?
So i don't understand because it sure to have serious damage if the flaps speed limit is excess about 20/30 kt above
for each aircraft !

I made a test full flaps and gear extended at 290 and no damage and no penalty ?
Only Damage at 310 kt,really strange because that doesn't correspond at the values in the aircraft Cfg ???

Hmmmm, that is strange. Maybe Dan can help here, what we need to know is how does FSP get it's operating speed data for penalties,
and / or what triggers the penalties?

Yes that is strange,if Dan read this message....
Hope to find help,i tested for many aircrafts and for some of them that's correct,but for a lot of aircarft fsp doesn't recognize the errors or
it's really too much tolerant ,my instructor said when i was in school never exceed the speed limit because of the damage,5 kt above and
step by step it could be very dangerous ! So 10/30 kt above (flaps and gear) for sure u get damage !!!
What i have to do Dan ?

I posed a similar question several months ago. According to Dan, the flap and gear use the same value and it is found in the gear sped
limit parameter in the aircraft config file. Here is Dan's response:

"No, flap speed is taken from aircraft.cfg, "gear damage speed" parameter.
IF it's not present FsP use default 250kts wich should do the job with a
great majority of commercial aircraft."
