I say Block-to-Block. That's what real world airlines use, and the point of FSPassengers is to be realistic, correct?
[POLL] I'm reworking the destination time... any advice ?

There is a popular program (Airliner Pilot) that measures the flight from OFF BLOCK to LANDING.
So, What if FSpassengers could give an option between several different choices. Examples: Block to block Block to landing Take off to touch down Having lots of OPTIONS are most popular these days. (we are so spoiled ![]() PR

Block to Block, leave the Zulu time, and allow co operation ith a program like "FS Real Time" Or, just do the countdown clock, although I don't really
like that. The clock shoudl start from BlockOff, and end at BlockOn. Although Dan, I still don't understand what you mean by the pause feature? So, I can hit the PBs again, but how would FSP recognize me just hitting them for the LVLD sim, and me hitting them to actually park? Also, I still wish there was a way to notify the pax of a delay to at least cut the penalty in half. I can't help the weather, or the idiot AI traffic, and neitehr can the real guys. I recently sat on the ramp in an US A321 waiting for hte traffic at PHL to take off (30 aircraft in the line, THIRTY!) The pilot would not have gotten a penalty there, nad I was not nearly as pissed of as say the time UAL has a bad mx problem on a flight out of DEN and I was delayed 4 hours then was switched to NW. At the very least we should get a button that will announce to the pax a delay, and cut the penalty in 3/4 or at least a 1/2. It will give you an extra 30m to sort things out. The more your press it, the less of a break you get. So After 30, if your not sorted and have to hit it again, it divids the penalty in half, after 3/4. Then 1/4 after 1/2 then nothing, so the maziumum delay can be 1.30h before you can no longer cut your points. Sorry if It's confusing, it's late and I'm tired. Post Edited ( 07-28-05 07:03 ) ![]()
