Just because you have no reason to register FSUIPC doesn't make it a "stupid little .dll file". I'm sure there is a ton of work that has gone
into FSUIPC over the years, and with the features available, many FS users see it as a "must have" add-on, including me. The many
weather fixing features alone were worth the money to me, like the smoothing of visibility changes, wind change smoothing, etc..
Flight Simulator caused me to crash several times with it's radical changes in wind direction and speed, so I immediately spent the
money on FSUIPC to stop the problem. The peace of mind that I will never have to deal with an aircraft overstress due to FS9 weather
again made my FSUIPC purchase worth every cent.
And it does so much more! It's far from stupid...and little.
