Totally, shamefully unfair penalties about time

I am not the one to rant about penalties but see below, too much is to much:

During my last flight
From: CYPR - Prince Rupert - Canada
To: PANC - Ted Stevens Anchorage Int - Usa

I had the surprise to see my flight interrupted by a scenery reload and find myself 1 hour later in GMT time ?...
I think it is a Microsoft joke because I remember it happened already almost in the same region (Alaska)

As result , I took 200 pts penalties somewhere behind as shows the report

See the flight time (2.03)
See the GMT departure time (3.43)

You could expect an arrival at 5.46. isn't it ?
But you find an arrival at 7.46, 2 hours corresponding to those 2 interruptions in Microsoft time travel machine....


As you see at the end the difference is 1h46 because I over estimated the flight time of about 14 minuts

I would have accepted gracefully the penalties for those 14 minutes too early

But thes 1h46 too late... NO WAY !!!

Bill Gates owes the following:
- 2 hours of life for my 56 passengers, crew and myself.
- 200 pts bonus.




Remains to try: the reverse flight from PANC to CYPR planing an arrival 3 minuts after departure

I think I'll take a solution in the upgrade that will get ride of several problem with those time things:

FsP count each second to keep a track of the time so FsP never loose the count of the time
(the duration is always exact)

So I think that instead of giving the arrival GMT time I'll change the dialog so you enter
the DURATION of your flight (block/block)
the mini display will then display a "countdown" instead of the two hours and we will be
ride of the "24 hours bug" and "Fs2004" problem with time..

how this look ?

Just today I had an event where I wasn't attending my flight (shame on me) and a message window popped up saying that my computer couldn't download the latest weather updates. That window was there for maybe half an hour with FS2004 paused automatically until I came back to the computer and clicked "OK". FSPassengers however didn't seem to have paused its clock during that time...

Sorry I'm really too busy to add this feature, soon peoples
would ask an option to turn it in various fruits and this would cause
compatibility problem with some dialog.
