This is what I call an installation.

Unfortunately I'll bother you a bit to solve those problems, I'll need some files to debug what happen with them.
Can you please zip, upload somewhere and give me the link (by private message) of the following files:

Is you disk not a SSD or did it took so much time because of the many Error message box ?

Installed into default P3D v2.5. Got not code signed (user account set to default Win 10)

Much thanks, that what I thought. The certificate used is a cheap one (only $50) from Ascertia but is not a strong one with verified identity. I'll need to use the comodo certificate (10 time more expensive) as in my previous program.
Just to confirm that they work well on your computer:

Can you launch "FsPassengersP3d/Utilities/AircraftBrowserP3D.exe"

If it work you should have the "signed code" splash.

This external utility will scan your scenery file and update the FsPassenger's airport database.
You should do it every time you add a new scenery with new airports.

The utility take usually a few seconds to update the airport database, you can do do it while running Prepar3D but it's best to close it before to avoid any trouble.

Click "Continue - Launch update Airport Database utility"

Das Programm benötigt normalerweise wenige Sekunden, um die Flughafendatenbank zu aktualisieren, Sie können es nutzen während Prepar3D läuft, aber um jede Komplikation auszuschließen, sollten sie es besser schließen.

• 1-You must have FsPassengersP3D for v2 or 3 installed.
  
• 2-Unzip "RefreshAirportDatabasev4.exe" into "FsPassengersP3D/Utilities" folder. (next to the "AircraftBrowserP3D.exe" utiliy)
  
• 3-Launch the "RefreshAirportDatabasev4.exe"
  
• 4-Launch the refresh
  
  
  
  
• 5-Report please:
  -eventual errors (in this case copy the log text)
  -Number of airports found
  -If all went well.
  
• 6-After test, you can delete the database file created in "FsPassengersP3D/Bin/IcaoDbFspV4.db"
  (in anyway it' will be overwritten when you'll install FsPassengers for Prepar3D v4)
  

The program should run in admin mode (to access BGL files), I'm interested to know if the UAC splash and certificate look right
it should appear as on the right code signed (with another name of course)

Much thanks, that what I thought. The certificate used is a cheap one (only $50) from Ascertia but is not a strong one with verified identity. I'll need to use the comodo certificate (10 time more expensive) as in my previous program.

after beeing a loyal FSPassengers Fan since the beginning and reading this forum all the time I finally joined and made an account.

I have a problem with your little airport finder tool: It won't locate Prepar3D v4.
The AircraftBrowserP3D.exe in the same folder has no problem locating P3D v4 but RefreshAirportDatabasev4.exe does.
Is it supposed to show that message?

Maxs, In reading Dan's instructions about the tool, you should have P3D V2 or 3 installed. I think the entire point is to see if the tool works with those versions first and work out any bugs for V4. I'm sure Dan can clarify.

Today's Progress:

I fixed the Airport database creator, I wait the feedback of Pedro to post the new version here also.
I removed completely the Prepar3D GPS that was slow (>2 seconds sometime) and that I suspected to trigger some problems on some systems.
Now FsP use the new airport database which take less than 5ms to find an airport by location.

After that I worked mainly on effects today, all are back including Flak, fuel leak, oil leak, engine fire, flak hit etc. etc.

"War zone" will finally be back
What's the purpose of war zone would some say ?

First for the lulz of flying between explosions, being hit and manage damages.
Second it's an excellent way to boost your pilot's career, if you land (or belly land) safely an aircraft with massive war damage you can gain as much as 3000 pilot points in one flight.

Here a testing loop of effects to "stress" them (not a FsP flight)
It's better with sound and animation.
