Boeing 787 First Flight

Its about time!! Boeing finally annouced the Boeing 787 is going to fly on December 15th. After many delays, it will be well worth it to see
this plane fly. Also United Airlines chose the 787 for the 757 replacement. I can't wait until this bird is in service!! More information at

Yep, and we finally brought a couple of 777-200's into service this month...the first for our company It will be interesting to see how the
787 performs reliability-wise.

Great to see this bird finally take to the air! Also loved the news that the Boeing 748 should be airbourne sometime next month!

Really! the 747-8 next month!!! I wonder when they will announce the date

Apparently so - first one was rolled out of the pait shop a couple weeks ago and they're hoping to start airbourne trials Jan/Feb 2010 from what I
read. Though, we all know with Boeing's luck at the moment, that'll probably be postponed

Looking forward to the better air quality and other improvements in the 787, but I'm not so sure about the crew deciding when I can look through the
window.
