I am not in the mood to fly for a while or post for a while. My truck just got repo'd tonight. I feel I am not worthy of being a pilot right now.

Man, that sucks. Just refer of the good old wisdom of "Finding Nemo" to get through all that:
"Just Keep swiming, Just keep swiming, swiming, swiming swiming, Just keep swiming" ![]() ![]() ![]() Well, if it make you feel better, I've been living in a hotel for over a month now after my appartment was flooded in mid-September and I was hit by a drunk driver the day I moved into the hotel - trashed the car in the process! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Phil

C'mon Carlucci: who needs a truck when you've got brand-new aircraft just begging to be flown?
Seriously, though: keep your head up! ![]()

Good luck with everything Carlucci!
Just a couple of days ago I was robbed by 4 pieces of **** coming home from work, (a 2-3 min walk only to my home) used a gun and everything. It was at night in the middle of a deserted path with a sort of bush/forest behind me. They all jumped on me putting a gun to my head. I thought I was going to die for sure and be thrown into the forest/bush thing behind me. I was extremely lucky I was allowed to leave after the assault. But I refuse to let that bother me anymore. So keep your head up! Theres alot of crap that happens to people sometimes. So just try to be positive! ![]() Post Edited ( 11-21-05 22:19 ) ![]() ![]()

WOW REPO, I had that happen to me many moons ago after I just made the payment and someone made a mistake. They towed my nice van and while doing it they tore up the front end and then claimed they never had anything to do with it. Yea, it hurts alright but you have to keep your head up and move on past that problem, if you let it eat at you too long it will drag you down so don't let it , keep on flying ! Just remember theres alway another road to follow that will lead you back on track ,keep l;ooking and don't give in! Good Luck!

Never rains but pours...
My car was broken into yesterda, someone watched my partner put her handbag in the boot (Carefuly burried under junk), after weleft tried to break the side window and failed, so broke the rear glass (it's an estate) instead and stole it. Spent most of yesterday getting locks changed in the house and cancelling bank cards. My car in my parents garage overnight, as no window, to find that my parents Mercedes that i had borrowed had been vandalised overnight. While examining the damage the neigbour told me that someone had damaged her car, and also had been walking over the car. It explains the footprints on my car, which i had previously not been able to explain! Total cost - My excess £250 for break in, and £250 for vandalisim, house lock replacement £75 and £100 xs for my partners car. all in all an expensive weekend and no flighsim extras (let alone fsx) for some time to come. I know it's not the right forum, but the post title was just calling to me.... ![]() Happy flying David |
