Flaps, Takeoff, and the King Air

I just now completed the short hop from Galveston to Houston in a King Air 350. It was one of my better flights, but my one concern is the
penalty I recieved. It said I didn't put on proper flaps during takeoff. My takeoff was one without flaps, due to the fact that the FS2004 flight
notes said to not use flaps during takeoff. Why was I penalized for this? Is there a way to turn this type of penalty off?

According to the checklist for the Aeroworx King Air B200 I fly approach flap is used for normal take off. If you assume that this also
applies to the 350 then you should avoid the penalty. I don't know which is correct, but I suspect that the Aeroworx check list probably is.

FSP does that for all airplanes. It can't tell if one make of aircraft requires flaps while another doesn't so it uses a default setting of one
notch of flaps for take off and landing. You can disable this penalty in the "FsPassengers\config" more_option.cfg. Open with Notepad
and change the 0 to a 1 in the line "DisableFlapCheck =0".
