Belly Landing in extreme weather

Flying happy from ENGN to EBBR in my new PMDG 737-700NG, lined up for the runway, lowered the gear, then suddenly co-pilot said 'uhh ohh we have some
problems witrh the gear' (or something simular) The happy feeling dissapeared when I in external view didnt see a single wheel ..

ahh man I had no idea! lol Well next time it happens.....would you still have to declare an emergency?

... I definitly think so! At least I would do!
But when I had this problem I had several other system failures, one engine off, electrical system off and some bullet holes in my cabin
so the declared emergency was containing a lot of failures and not only the stuck gear...

Yep you should definatly declare an emergency, because the gear has still failed. And manualy releasing the landing gear doesn't always work.
