cant see why you wouldnt get replies to free software that you dont like, i would have thought people would snap up such an offer, even if
they had to pay a small amount for the postage cost of a cd or something

I bought RC4 today and I am looking forward to it.
I'm not too bothered by the soundpacks from what I've heard. Yes it is not as smooth as the default ATC, but I'm listening to live streaming ATC from CYYZ and the RC4 sounds closer to real life than the default ATC. My main reason for buying is the realism underneath - from phrasology to support for SID/STARs, holds, alternate airports, request direct, correct flight level assignments, weather diversions, emergencies, S-turns, speed restrictions, etc, etc. My last trip with default ATC was CYEG to CYWG and ATC had me on a crash dive to intercept the ILS - I was dropping at 2500 ft/m with spoliers exptended to keep the speed down and ATC vecteroing me straight in for an 8 mile final even though I was still at 9,000 ASL. Also bought Activesky V Enhanced and highly recommend it if you want as real as it gets. No hits on framerates (over FS default cloud textures) - much better textures, more real and much mucj more variety. Includes wake turbulance, winds aloft and thermals. Supports up to 10 cloud layers and includes all types you would normally see. Very smooth engine - you actually fly into and through weather now, not the instant switch so common in default FS weather. Overcast is very real looking. Can't say enough about it. Comes with a wx radar too that is useful to see the weather enroute. So with FSpassengers, FSGlobal (76m terrain), Ultimate Terrain Canada and Alaska, Activesky and Radar Contact - I think I'm set.
