Well, we can also try to get wifes and mothers involved a bit, they can first enter the room holding a lamp above their head, switching it on
and off repeatedly so they will be a "follow-me wife". After that they have to climb on the desk with some paddles and direct us safely to
the gate...
I will discuss this with my wife tonight. If after that i'm not around for some time, it might have to do with a different usage of the paddles
then...

In case of belly landing, remove the legs from your desk and chair and skid them along a a hard-wood floor the entire length of the room
as fast as possible.

In case of water landing, take all the contents of your room to the neighborhood pool and yell "Gangway!......."
