I'm not often "in maintenance", as I really don't have any clue what you mean!

I like that Airbus with the prop nose! Very attractive (at least as attractive as an Airbus can be)!

Eazy, the ecam display i managed to fix. In the \Flight Simulator 9\PSS folder is a file called a340_uni.ini. I opened it and found out that it
contained settings of my old pc (I just copied it to my new pc those days). I don't know in what way it links to that ecam but i simply deleted that
ini file (of which i though it would be recreated but it didn't hehe) anyhow, the ecam shows correctly now. Still no clue about the other issues
though....

Er, not quite, LOC catches the beam on the 737's and 767, then the App if turned on should come on automatically. It's done so that the
plane knows it's being told to catch the beam then fly the approach.

Yes, i usually use the LOC till it catches the beam and after that, when finished the turn, i switch on APP till catching the glideslope, then i
switch of some seconds later the AP at all and hand fly it

Dutch, I deleted (moved) the ini file but it didn't work for me. No change. However the display error is not dramatic for me. The last digit to the
right is cut halfway, so that's 3 or 4 pixels. I can live with that.

Thanks guys i (semi) sucessfully completed my first ILS landing in a C-17 Globemaster III (alphasim) i say semi sucessfully as the
autopilot put it down like a sack of spuds,lol, sooooo thanks for all your help guys, and that A340 is b-e-a-utiful,lmao

The last time I ever did a ILS landing was YEARS ago. Visual all the way. Even in 1/16 mile visibility.

How exactly do you do a visual with 1/16th visibility without ILS as you should not be able to either see the ground or runway... or do you mean an
ILS performed by autopilot is not used BUT handfly the ILS approach with NAV1 tuned to the localizer?
