PS and By the Way, the ILS hold feature of FS2004 is really screwed up. In reality, if you engage the hold while on a 30 degree intercept,
the hold should track the LOC, and then automatically intercept it. In FS2004, it usually goes too far and then S-Tails down the LOC trying
to re-capture it.
Thats why I love the auto-land in the PMDG 737. Not only does it intercept the glideslope perfectly, but it can do a full CAT III ILS approach.
I dont see that your doing anything wrong. The optimal altitude to intercept is about 2000 AGL. If its the VERTICAL glideslope your not intercepting,
well I had the same problem too alot. Like olseric said, its really screwed up.
Speaking of the landing using PMDG 737, does it kiss the runway or it slams onto the runway ? I have the PMDG 737 as well but everytime I have the
auto approach/autoland it maintains like -700ft/min, I believe it is little too fast when it comes to the touchdown or does she slow the vertical
speed down right before the touchdown ?
