I second that for the global terrain mesh. You've really got to look around and see which one works for you! A lot out there.

yeah that terrain mesh is excellent, at my international airport (KGSP) the airport is on top of a hill, before you never saw the hill, now you do

Do you have to download all of those? why can't they make it one download, though it is 8.27 GB and it would take a while
it would be a lot easier, or atleast do it by a larger area. ex. North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia etc.

You don't have to download the terrain you are not flying over, so it's better this way, IMHO...

I have a broadband connection and used Free Download Manager from TUCOWS to download it all, it was slow, but I would hate to have
to try and identify the 'bits' that I needed every time. Well worth the effort though!

But as Brad mentioned: do you really fly all over the world? I tend to d/l whatever bgl I need once I've decided where to go: then it's just a matter of placing it in the right folder; you don't even have to "add" it in the Scenery Manager.

I just fly in the US, so I've just downloaded each and every one of the US files (I think there's 55, they're just over 750MB unzipped in their
scenery folder). Someone correct me if there's more than 55... I checked and double checked, and think I got it, but I'm not sure. I don't need Hawaii or Alaska either, since I just stay in the lower 48 ![]()
