Great addons for FS. What do I NEED?

Now, what else do I need?

I've heard about Ultimate Traffic (or something like that) as well as Active Sky.

Now, for the ultimate experience, what do you guys suggest I get?

F1's Ultimate Terrain Canada/AK/USA, as well as some other freewaer addon, FSGenesis Terrain Mesh. Simflyers airpot addons.

How about a world spanning 76m terrain mesh? It will enhance mountains and the whole landscape significantly. While you can buy this stuff, there's
also one available for free at Simviation (provided you have enough time and a good internet connection, adds up to ~8 GB). Link:

Just for the record, that's exactly what I meant you can get for free if you're willing to download GBs of terrain data.

FSGenesis provide higher res terrain meshes for many places for the world, from their world buffer mesh all the way to the 9.6m Grand
Canyon mesh.

I strongly recommend the free 76M mesh that nem mentioned. I use it with no problems (no performance hits either), and best of all it's
FREE! It'll take a while to download it, so just download what you need, and split it into sections. Works for me!

I also recommend the PMDG aircraft (http://www.precisionmanuals.com), and FS2Crew (http://www.fs2crew.com) Both of those are must-haves if
you fly the 737, or 747.

Ultimate Traffic is near the top of my list in must have addons too. It adds ALL commercial aircraft operating on time schedules. You can
download time schedule updates for it to make sure that the traffic you see in FS, is the traffic that's at that airport RIGHT NOW! It's great!

What is sound environment? Haven't heard of that one yet.

(With the vector attachment you can move on all axis, so you can lean forward and up to look over the cowl or lean over a bit to see down the side of a taildragger on takeoff and taxi.
Basically you have the same range of motions available as you do when you are driving your car or flying in a real cockpit. With TrackIR on its own you can pan/look up,down and left,right. The vector clip adds all the other axis so you have freedom to move in your seat as in the real world.)

I also VERY strongly recommend Raimondo Taburet's coastlines and roads & waters. That's where he's best at, but he also does a lot
of other things (meshes, landclasses, photoreal meshes..) You can find that at SimMarket.com.

Yeah, I can't afford TrackIR yet but PCPilot reviewed it in issue35 and it looks great. Plus of course it's so natural to try and peer over the
cowling.

An OMFG do you HAVE to download ALL of these files for the terrain mesh??? Can't one just get them ALL in one file? AND *mumbles* OF COURSE Sweden isn't completely modeled. Why is Sweden always left out of things like this?? (I know, because it's too far north...HELLO??? Ever heard of Gulfstream? *smiles*)
