Should I be you, I would not run re-installing all stuff in one block.

Install FS standard and check,
patch 9.1 and check,
FSP and check

restore the previously saved FSP database, payload_model, and company owned aircrafts ... and check.

Then sceneries, and all stuff ONE BY ONE

If you don't have time to loose... don't rush.

Would I simply be able to copy over my "addon scenery" directory, or do I have to reinstall ALL of these?

risky, they may need files stored in others directories.

All sceneries or planes which came with an installation program and not simple files with manual procedures are the LAST THINGS to re-install, it is
this kind of stuff which in background can mess up the dll in module folder.

Hey you just installed Windows Service Pack XP2, there is a firewall installed with that, make sure you added fs9 to the exceptions list!!!

I don't use the WINXP firewall... kinda sucks if you ask me

otherwise MS has a great support team if you go to the website

Just finished re-installing everything. I'll get a chance to try it out tomorrow. I think everything is going to work fine. Just a major pain in
the ass.
