Again wrong destination

I'm a newbie here, and to FSPassengers as a game. Maybe I've been unlucky but out of less than twenty flights Ive had 2 wrong
destinations. One, annoyingly, after a three hour flight.

One was at Manchester Airport, where it declared I'd landed at the Manchester Helipad, and the other was at Hamburg, where again it
thought I'd landed at the Hamburg Helipad. Now, two out of twenty is a high percentage as far as I'm concerned. And while, yes, the FAQ
does mention it, I have to confess I still haven't read the entire FAQ, and nor really I do think consulting a FAQ should be a prerequisite to
avoid results that are wholly unexpected.

Possibly I've been very unlucky in my choice of landing locations.

Still, this is a bug, and at least I think it should entered in the documentation as part of landing procedure to check gps before
terminating a flight.

I don't know how practical it might be to take helipads out of the equation, but that might help solve some of the issues.

As an aside, turning off the wrong airport penalty doesn't make up for losing the 'long flight, arriving on time' bonus that will also be lost in
these cases.

Anyway, I'm sorry if this is a repitition of other threads (I haven't checked), but it is annoying. I grieve with the designer that there may not
be a better way of resolving destinations, but it isn't until this happens to you that you're aware the problem can exist, so something
forwarning the user in the basic documentation might have been appreciated.

For you.. you have 2 out of 20, which is 90% correct..

For me.. I have had 0 wrong destinations out of 173 flights... I think that's still a pretty good percentage overall (adding all the users' flights
up), for a product like FSP.

I don't understand how everyone is having such a problem with this, lol. If you check your GPS when you're finishing a flight (and are taxiing,) then
you'll have no problem with this penalty. Or, just turn the penalty off.

first welcome here,

At the time of doc writting almost no beta tester got this error, now some get it because
there is a lot of users of FsP that fly in a lot of place on which *some* may cause problems.
On the number of users of FsP yes some get some penalty.

As said in this thread there is no existing reliable solution with the actuall system of MSFS
to be sure to never have an error. it's technically impossible.

Anyway this problem is listed in the FAQ, listed in this forum and you have many solutions,
either not using "destination" flying on place wich are okay (most are) or check with GPS.

PS: I close this thread. this is not due to you but because of the new policy .

New policy say that we can't accept anymore lack of respect, rough bashing, bad
language and such as have posted the author of this thread. We are humains
not dog.

This forum got almost a total freespeech until now in contrary of most forum of
commercial product and this will still be the case but freespeech doesn't mean
we should accept insults uneducated peoples and rough bashing.
Most peoples are educated howewer, only a few post will require this policy to
be applied.
