It takes the time it takes. Figuring out how to work around the lack of inline assembly support in x64 compilers is a nasty nightmare, and people like you know nothing that can compare. I waited a long time too.
Now I went on Simbuddy and I do not regret it. FSP will have trouble following, it's almost impossible. Too bad, I liked it my FSP

Its 1 person here vs a team anywhere else. I am fine with Dan taking his time. Let the others leave if they wish. Some act like little kids.

I'm not gonna go into details here as it's fairly offtopic. But, I could point to the fact that there are rearly more than 8-15 people online on SimBuddy at any given time, to say that most people who like this kind of VA, rather wait for FSP. Anyway.. Dan: My hats off to you for the work you're doing with this product. Whether you launch today or 6 months from now, I don't care. I'll grab a "copy" nonetheless ![]()

Each to their own. No I didn't. I compared SimBuddy to a software (FSP) that absolutely exists. Have you forgotten that FSP has been out for FSX and P3D v1 through 3, for quite some time? Even FS2004 for those still using it. And of the two, I prefer FSP. I've since moved on to P3Dv4, to which the software has yet to come out, but it does exist. The irrationality of this thread, is impatient people.
My worry is that P3D v5 will probably be just around the corner if/when this new version of FSPassengers comes out. And who's to say it will be compatible then? Or will we have to wait yet another indefinite amount of time?
I've been using FSPassengers since 2006, and I hate to say it, but I'm considering other options. I've been holding out on purchasing other options for months, but I think I'm just going to fork over cash for AirHauler 2, and just use that until if/when this is released. And I don't think that impatience is irrational. When it comes to paid products that people have invested time/money in, it's perfectly within the customer's right to criticize release schedules. People held Aerosoft accountable for their delays. While Dan may be one person, and this is more of a passion project for him, when it comes to payware, that sort of criticism is warranted in my opinion. This 64 bit update was announced in May of 2017, nearly a year and a half ago.

Okay, being impatient isn't exactly irrational, so please allow me to rephrase myself. It is irrational to let the impatience turn into heckling of the poor guy, who is trying his best to get this product ready. ----------------------------- Remember this is a one show. It's not like there's a company or even a small group of people working on this. It's one man, doing it as a passion project. This is what separates him from the rest, and eliminates peoples right to complain. To him, personal life comes first and that's how it has to be. People need to understand and respect this. If you're tired of waiting, move on. There's really no need to yell about it, here. I wish the new version was out as well, but you don't hear me complain about it. I'm a grown man, I understand Dan's situation, and I urge others to understand, too. Stop being selfish. You're not the center of the universe. Someone pointed out this being payware which makes it ok to complain. Not really. For reasons listed above. Also, no one has payed for this spesific product, yet. If you have payed for FSP already, that means you've bought it for a specific sim. Well then, go back to that sim and use it. You can't complain that it's not out yet for another sim. And make no mistake, P3Dv4 is a different sim than P3Dv3. You'll see that even if you go onto Lockheed Martin's webpage. You'll see that they are listed as two separate products. Not just an upgrade. That would be like buying a game for PS and then complain when it doesn't work on Xbox ![]()

You don't say? It is x64. That's enough. Bytheway jokes apart, i agree with everything.

I have also been following this program for years. But I have to contradict you! The people here are more than patient, I am even surprised that it is so quiet here! The reason why I disagree with you is, Dan himself said that this program will be 98% completed in September. And I think it's not too much to ask for a little information on how far the program is from the release date! Dan himself said just before he went on vacation, that he will inform us regularly !! These were Dan's words. What is happening is exactly the same as a year ago, almost zero information! I think 16 months is a long time for an update, and I honestly do not know why he does not give us any information. I've been very patient so far and look forward to this program all the time. But it looks like Dan is not keeping his promise. Many people are just disappointed, whether he writes the program alone or not! There is no reason to ignore the customers here! Sooo Sad! I'm sorry Dan I have to say that, I appreciate your program very much, and I hope you take to heart what I want to say, and what many other people think here. I hope it will not take that long anymore.

I have long since moved on, though thanks for your retrospective approval to do so. Nobody is 'yelling', so stop getting yourself all melodramatic and yes, people do have a right to complain, no matter whether you disagree or not, and that right is independent of the size of the team working on the project. I've paid for this product twice now, only to have it rendered useless. In the last instance, it was functional for just a couple of months, so yeah, I'll reserve my right to rant just a little. I won't be paying again, I'm just here to watch the social experiment unfold. It's very entertaining and, strangely compensating. Just to be clear, read this in a calm voice, not a yell :-)

xWhere's Dan? It doesn't matter when it's released, it just needs to be told, or the project is off the table! No news like this is disrespectful to everyone!
