Sphinxair, I mentioned the possibility of having FSX in the x86 program files may cause issues due to protections. I didn't suggest initially that you
install FSX in another directory, as I have been hoping Dan would respond to this thread. Apparently he has not been able to respond yet. Just so you know, Dan is the sole developer of FsP and there are no other individuals involved in the process. You may have a mega pc, but not all software will behave the same way on every machine....especially when FSX is installed in the X86 directory. Sometimes these computers can be very finicky and it's sometimes a mystery as to the reason why a piece of software works on one machine and not another of similar build. Let's hope Dan can stop by soon to provide some additional guidance.

Hi,
Sorry for the delay I'm working hard on the new site -It's the first time I see the "unable to write uninstall information" error... 1-Let me know if you have this file: "C:\Users\Public\Documents\FsPassengers\Bin\uninstallpath.cfg" 2-Please try to unactivate first you antivirus before reinstalling and see if it make a difference. Explanation: -First the file "uninstallpath.cfg" is open for reading to see if the uninstall information are already there. -Then the installer open it one more time to write the new data.
