A great tool to get to help with panels is FS Panel Studio. I use it all the time to customize panels; it makes a lot of the freeware planes out there
tolerable. Just do a google search to find where to download and buy, its well worth the money, in my opinion, and this is from someone who is very stingy about buying addons.
