well at least if they saied they where asleep. then they could say
"hay when only human were over worked, and tiered." but not paying attentioned that you missed the probly 50 diffrent Route discontinuity warnings on the A320, thats preety Farfetched as for the CVR it only records the last 30min, they would have been awake and probly doing thoue ATC enduced manuvers at that time ![]()

Been there, never had an interceptor flying beside me yet despite being out of contact for 10+ mins. The problem is they deviated from their origional flightplan and did not follow ATC directions. That should have been the trigger to alert the AirForce. So yes, someone is very much in trouble..... and likewise the entire system
