I use the no-CD "crack" (or whatever) with FSP, and don't experience any problems as a result. I also use time compression up to 16x, and haven't had
any difficulty with that either (I have turned off the 30% point penalty in the more_option.cfg; I have too many family responsibilites to play at
just 1x speed).
