I also raised this point and was in the thread referred to above.

I'd simply like a hot key to trigger that statement. As mentioned, in the US I've never encountered any carrier (and I'm a frequent flyer) that uses
music during taxi. Thus, for us, this "feature" detracts from the realism.

I believe it'd be nice to have a hot key that could trigger that response. When I get cleared to the active I'll hit the key and tell the crew to
prepare. If I don't do that, I should be penalized. Nice chance for a new, relatively easy feature in my view. <grin>
